Spotted another…

Posted by 1troy3 on January 13, 2009

An organic compost supplier – Mr Muck’s. Ah the things you learn on the M40.

Already looking forward to the Slovenia trip (if my ears can tek it cap’n).

OK time for a competition. First person to mail me with a picture of a spring bulb in flower wins blog bragging rights. Has to be UK, this year, growing naturally outside and any other conditions of common sense.

Good luck.

you couldn’t make it up Dave!
It’s a real ‘Father Ted’ photo too!!

Spring bulb: the Bishops of Liverpool and London were joined by a giant inflatable replica of an energy-saving light bulb in Trafalgar Square on Tuesday, when they launched Tearfund’s Carbon Fast

THE Bishop of Liverpool, the Rt Revd James Jones, has had a Damascus-road experience about homosexuality.

not sure i’d like an experience ‘up the Damascus road’!!

Yeah my view of the Morris has changed over the years – I’ve always liked the music but I’ve come to appreciate the ‘Father Ted’ parochial feel. And they do have this really ribald, cutting humour all of their own. I think they’re misunderstood. A while back one of them told me “your’re supposed to laugh and take the p*** – that’s why we’re dressed as fools.” Duh.

Talking of minority clubs. Oldham today. C’mon you Bulls.

PS. Mike has already submitted an entry for the spring bulb competition which I will share with you. Keep looking.

Yeah – 2 wingers rampaging down the flanks – that’s what we need more of. I thought Guinan was washed up last season – maybe he’ll be our saviour. Will you be able to use your Leeds ticket Dave?

Sadly Al, I can’t make a midweek game. My dad got a return. Daft really – you could have had it for another mate.

But I’m up for a trip to Edgar Street next time I coincide with a home game. That’s always assuming the country is solvent of course – God what a mess. Do you get the feeling we’re going to be paying for this for a very long time?
